Nathaniel LaCrue is a writer, editor, and journalist with a BA in English-creative writing from University of Colorado at Boulder. He followed up his degree with a supplemental graduate certificate from University of Denver’s Publishing Institute before moving to Wisconsin to write and work in the book industry.
He was the lead poetry editor for Obscura Literary & Art Magazine (2015 edition) and worked for University of Colorado’s Journal Twenty Twenty as an editor in 2017. He worked for Denver’s OUTFRONT Magazine as a journalism/online content intern where he created and edited pieces for the online version of the magazine. His writing has been featured in Obscura Literary & Art Magazine, Walkabout Creative Arts Journal, Spectrum Literary Arts Magazine, Z Publishing’s Colorado’s Best Emerging Poets, and OUTFRONT Magazine.
